How Much Can You Earn on Clickasnap?
I’ve been using the Clickasnap platform on and off for a few years now, but am finally going to attempt to use it as often as possible alongside my regular job to see how much money it is really possible to earn, since this is something a lot of people want to know before signing up.
I will post updates here of how much my earnings increase and how often to give people a rough idea of what to expect. Since it is still the only platform that still pays for views of your content, it's perhaps worth me making a real effort to use it more!
There will be some rules that I will follow, though, as I don't want to abuse the platform and start spamming people's photos with bland comments in the hope that they will view one of my photos in return.
As the only way to be successful on these platforms is to interact with other users, I will do so, but only by leaving comments and likes on photos I either genuinely enjoy, or those that look like a good effort was made. I will also do my best to comment on something specific to the photo, and not leave an unoriginal, “Nice shot“ under their image, although I have done this before if I'm honest!
I will also only upload a new photo when the previous one reaches 100 likes. This should hopefully demonstrate that you don't need a huge catalogue of photos to upload from, and that you don't need to upload many photos of lesser quality.
Keeping to these rules should make it possible to see what fair use of the platform can offer in terms of returns. It’s worth mentioning that I am starting this experiment with just under 150 followers. At one point I had over 2000, but they were removed when the site was upgraded, which was a bit deflating.
Yesterday, I requested a withdrawal of my funds and started again from $0. So let's see how far we get!
August 13th 2025
I uploaded my first new photo in over a year yesterday! Just before, and then for a while after, I browsed images on the site, and fortunately there were quite a lot of decent photos which I felt ok leaving comments and likes on. I didn't feel like I was cheating the system as they were actually good.

After quite a while, some views started to build up on the new photo, as well as some older ones.
On a few separate occasions yesterday and today, I received a notification telling me my photo was trending, and it eventually ended up in the sites front page.
Several users also shared the image which brought in more views and likes. At the end of the day today, it is currently on 42 likes and 79 views which isn't bad. I also have new followers and a (very) small amount of money!
